Free Practice 2 results - Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2017 - Quiet second session sees Hamilton move ahead

Following Vettel's P1 in the first practice session, it was Hamilton's turn to move into the lead for the second session. It was a quiet session for everyone, particularly for Romain Grosjean, who spent much of it in the garage. The Haas team were patching up an electrical problem, leaving Romain only able to complete 12 laps.

Fernando Alonso finished in the top ten for the second session in a row, but out front, the top five were split by just six tenths of a second. Max Verstappen just missed out of that battle with sixth place.
