Kimi Räikkönen has been handed a five place grid penalty after changing the gearbox in his Ferrari, which drops the Finn from his third place qualifying slot down to eighth. Daniel Ricciardo moves onto the second row of the grid to make it an all-Red Bull affair. Both Ferraris have suffered grid drops this weekend, with Sebastian Vettel also moving back three places due to causing a collision in the Malaysian GP.

Meanwhile, Jenson Button will start from the back of the grid after a poor qualifying is compounded by an engine related grid penalty. He’s taken the equivalent of a 35 place penalty, but only qualified 17th anyway, so there is an element of strategy to McLaren’s actions here.
