Starting grid - British Grand Prix 2016 - Vettel takes gearbox penalty at Silverstone

Two drivers have been affected by stewards decisions this weekend, with Sebastian Vettel handed a five place grid penalty for changing the gearbox. Marcus Ericsson also suffers from a five place gearbox, but it makes no difference to his starting position, as the Swede was unable to qualify on Saturday.

After a huge crash during practice, Marcus couldn't take part in qualifying, but has been given permission to race as long as he starts from the pitlane. As the stewards say, the gearbox penalty has been overridden by the requirement for him to start from the pit lane.
