Fastest laps - British Grand Prix 2016 - Alonso splits Mercedes with a fast lap in his McLaren

Lewis Hamilton may have won the race at Silverstone, but Nico Rosberg posted the fastest lap - beating his teammate by two tenths of a second. Amazingly, in between the two Mercedes, Fernando Alonso managed to sneak his McLaren, the Spaniard going all out for one lap towards the end of the race.

Ferrari were somewhat down on pace, beaten on the fastest laps chart by both Red Bull drivers and by Williams as well. Vettel was faster than his teammate, whilst one more Williams and Carlos Sainz in the Toro Rosso rounded out the top ten.
