Starting grid - Belgian Grand Prix 2016 - Hamilton and Alonso take extensive engine penalties

It's a penalty heavy weekend in Belgium, as both McLaren and Mercedes have one driver apiece starting from the rear of the field due to some hefty engine changes. They're not the only ones penalised though.

Esteban Gutiérrez also picked up a five place drop due to impeding Pascal Wehrlein during final practice this morning. Marcus Ericsson also takes a more basic ten place drop for his engine changes.

15 place drop for Lewis Hamilton. A drop of 15 grid positions, comprising 10 grid positions for 6th turbo charger and 5 grid positions for 6th MGU-H.
35 place drop for Fernando Alonso. A drop of 35 grid positions, comprising: 10 grid positions for 6th ICE, 5 grid positions for 6th TC, 5 grid positions for 6th MGU-H, 5 grid positions for 6th MGU-K, 5 grid positions for 6th ES, 5 grid positions for 6th CE.
15 place drop for Lewis Hamilton. Drop of 15 grid positions, comprising 10 grid positions for 7th TC, 5 grid positions for 7th MGU-H.
25 place drop for Lewis Hamilton. A drop of 25 grid positions comprising 10 grid positions for 8th TC, 5 grid positions for 8th MGU-H, 5 grid positions for 6th ICE, 5 grid positions for 6th MGU-K.
5 place drop for Esteban Gutiérrez. Esteban Gutiérrez impeded Pascal Wehrlein in turn 4 during Free Practice 3. Due to the large speed differential between the cars and the position of car 21 on the track, the Stewards regard this as dangerous.
25 place drop for Fernando Alonso. A drop of 25 grid positions comprising 10 grid positions for 7th ICE, 5 grid positions for 7th TC, 5 grid positions for 7th MGU-H, 5 grid positions for 7th MGU-K.
5 place drop for Lewis Hamilton. The gearbox has been changed.
