With just one practice session completed yesterday, the teams were keen to get out on track and start their weekend properly. However, the rain continued to cause issues. The FIA sent the safety car out on several exploratory laps and eventually allowed final practice to go ahead. It was Lewis Hamilton posting the fastest time, but no one looked very comfortable on the very wet tarmac.

Nico Rosberg crashed into the barrier gently, damaging the front wing on his Mercedes. Sebastian Vettel spun several times during his nine laps, but he was second fastest overall.
