The stewards were granted a little bit of breathing room after qualifying in Barcelona, with no penalties handed out that would affect the grid come Sunday. That being the case, it's Nico Rosberg who retains his first pole position of the season, lining up alongside Lewis Hamilton for another all-Mercedes front row. Sebastian Vettel and Valtteri Bottas will be keeping a beady eye on the pair in front, hoping to capitalise on any misfortunes into the first corner.

Further back, Kimi Räikkönen has some early work to do to get past the two Toro Rosso drivers with both Verstappen and Sainz putting in a sterling Saturday performance to earn 5th and 6th on the grid.
