Nico Rosberg was back on top in the final hour of practice, as teammate Lewis Hamilton endured a scrappy session which included a spin that narrowly avoided the barriers. The Red Bull mechanics were hard at work for the second day in a row, this time focusing on Daniil Kvyat's car which had developed a water leak. Daniel Ricciardo finally got some meaningful laps completed, and ended the session in 6th place.

The Manor pair continued to run several seconds off the pace, but have shown good reliability so far. Sergio Pérez was just in front of them, with the Sauber of Marcus Ericsson and both the Lotus cars also propping up the lower half of the timesheets.
