Free Practice 1 results - Monaco Grand Prix 2015 - Damp start to the weekend sees Hamilton on top

Hamilton got his Monaco weekend off to a good start with the fastest time in first practice. It was a wet session to start with, after rain overnight left the tarmac damp. It quickly dried up but drivers still found it difficult to gain grip and traction around the tight corners. Rosberg brushed the barriers, whilst several drivers spun out on track.

Button only managed to complete 15 laps after being stuck in the garage for two thirds of the session, whilst the busiest driver out on track was Hamilton, completing almost 50 laps.
