Force India were the team on the move in Monte Carlo, as Sergio Pérez finished in the top ten and acquired some much needed points. Force India rose to sixth place, but the battle is close between them and Lotus, as well as Toro Rosso - just two points separating the three teams.

At the top, Mercedes managed to increase their lead, despite their mistimed strategy call towards the end of the race. Big cheers for the McLaren squad, too, as the Woking team finally got some points on the board thanks to Jenson Button squeezing into the points. That leaves Manor as the only outfit without points of the ten participants.
