Nico Rosberg posted the fastest time during the third session of practice at Sepang, with teammate Lewis Hamilton complaining about the balance and setup of his Mercedes. It was a scrappy session all round with plenty of drivers struggling for grip and finding themselves off track, searching to regain the racing line.

Ferrari were second fastest, whilst at the other end of the timesheets, Manor were a full seven seconds off the pace - the drivers completing 15 laps between them.
