Sebastian Vettel's victory in Malaysia allowed him to move up to second place, and only three points behind current championship leader Lewis Hamilton. Fellow Ferrari driver Kimi Räikkönen also made strides up the standings, bouncing up to fifth place after failing to pick up any points in Australia.

Valtteri Bottas picked up a good points haul after missing out the first race, but he's sitting on half the points of teammate Massa for now.
