Race results - Japanese Grand Prix 2015 - Hamilton wins after fighting off Rosberg on lap one

Lewis Hamilton extended his championship lead after winning the Japanese Grand Prix, battling teammate and polesitter Nico Rosberg at the first corner. They were side by side but Hamilton had the corner advantage, pushing his teammate off track to gain the advantage. Sebastian Vettel joined the pair on the podium, whilst Kimi Räikkönen just missed out to finish fourth.

A big talking point came from Fernando Alonso, however, who was incredibly vocal about his continuing disappointment with the performance of the McLaren. He finished 11th in the end, with Jenson Button also out of the points.
