Free Practice 2 results - Japanese Grand Prix 2015 - Wet running continues with Kvyat on top at Suzuka

The rain stopped ahead of FP2 at Suzuka, but the track was still damp as drivers headed out to try and get some running in after a difficult first session. It was intermediate tyres all round, and then full-wets when the rain started again midway through. Despite the changeable conditions, Daniil Kvyat set the fastest time ahead of two Mercedes drivers and Red Bull teammate Daniel Ricciardo.

Button complained about the balance of his McLaren, whilst Alonso was stuck in the garage for more than half the session due to continuing mechanical gremlins on the car.
