Driver standings - Japanese Grand Prix 2015 - Rosberg and Vettel neck and neck in fight for second place

Whilst Lewis Hamilton extends his lead for the championship, Nico Rosberg is facing a stern threat from Sebastian Vettel - the two are separated by 11 points now. The gap between the top three and the rest of the field is enormous, with Räikkönen and Bottas making progress but Felipe Massa's performance flatlining over the past few weekends.

Romain Grosjean and Nico Hülkenberg made progress in the midfield, whilst Carlos Sainz jumped Fernando Alonso for 15th place, which won't have improved the Spaniard's mood very much.
