For the first time this year, both the Manor drivers managed to appear in qualifying and set a time good enough to grab a spot on the grid for race day. Both Will Stevens and Roberto Merhi will hit the track at the same time, the Brit edging out his teammate. There are no penalties for the grid ahead of the Chinese Grand Prix, leaving Hamilton with his pole position and a charging pack behind him to defend against.

Several of the drivers are working their way through their allotted engines swiftly, meaning that we're only three races into the year and already pondering the looming prospect of power-unit related grid penalties.
