Lewis Hamilton took to the top step of the podium yet again in 2015, winning the Bahrain Grand Prix with relative ease. Nico Rosberg fought hard against both the Ferrari drivers, unable to match Kimi Räikkönen in the end, but gaining on Sebastian Vettel after a mistake from the latter.

Daniel Ricciardo's engine gave out on the final lap but the Australian managed to drag his Red Bull across the line to pick up some much-needed points. Fernando Alonso finished 11th, closing the gap towards the top ten, but teammate Jenson Button was unable to start the race. Despite the stewards giving him permission to appear after failing to qualify, McLaren couldn't get the car running in time to take to the grid.

Felipe Massa did make the grid but couldn't get away for the formation lap, dropping down the order. He recovered during the race to finish tenth, picking up the final points paying position.
