Kimi tops the table on pure speed

Despite dominating in both qualifying and the race, Lewis Hamilton only managed to set the fifth fastest time during the Grand Prix on Sunday. Both the Ferrari drivers were ahead of him, as well as teammate Nico Rosberg and a surprisingly fast Pastor Maldonado in the Lotus.

Jenson Button was unable to race, but can look on with some relief that Alonso finished 11th on track and 13th on the fastest lap list. McLaren are gradually making gains on their torrid start to the season. In the middle of the field, Force India had better pace, able to match the Sauber drivers overall, whilst Daniil Kvyat topped Red Bull teammate Daniel Ricciardo by just two tenths.
