Force India's jump up to 31 points puts them in fifth place, but the position isn't as secure as they might hope. The battle amongst the midfield teams is fierce, with Lotus just two points behind and Sauber only eight further points down the order. McLaren continue to sit on their lowly 4 whilst Manor are still looking for their first points finish this year.

Out front, Mercedes continue their straight-line domination of the sport, moving ever further away from Ferrari, who suffered from Kimi's non-finish in Austria. Williams have managed to close the gap to the second place Scuderia, and will be looking to hunt them down in the second half of the season.
