O'Driscoll spent much of his career with the Jaguar company, both in the UK and the US, working his way up through the business to become a director. With plenty of experience as a director, as chairman of the Jaguar museum, and as a judge at historic sports car events, Mike was in the perfect position to bring his expertise to Williams as Group CEO in 2013.

As CEO of the Williams Group, Mike needs to draw on his years of experience within the car industry. He started out fresh from his student days in Warwick, beginning his career at Jaguar and working in various product development and business orientated departments. In the late 1980s, O'Driscoll moved to the United States, working for Jaguar in their American businesses.

He spent some time with Ford during the 1990s, but returned to Jaguar in the year 2000, taking over the presidency of the US Jaguar branch. Returning to the UK in 2007, Mike helped Jaguar during their transition to ownership by Tata, and he helped the company thrive under the new bosses. After retiring as a director in 2011, O'Driscoll wanted to remain active in the automotive industry.

He is a Chairman of the Jaguar museum, and often presides over historic racing weekends. He joined the board of Williams as a non-executive director, becoming Group CEO - a new role - midway through the 2013 season. He replaced the outgoing Alex Lynn and has remained in the position since then.
