F1 biography

Fong's racing career began in 2004, but it wasn't until 2006 that he started drawing attention to himself. Racing in the Formula Renault series in Asia, he then moved on to German Formula Three. In 2011, he participated in the tricky Macau Grand Prix but didn't make too much impact. He also spent that year racing in the British F3 series.

After that, Fong turned his attention to sportscar racing, winning in his second race of the Audi LMS Cup. He won another race but then left the series to return to British Formula Three, where he brought his winning ways with him. In 2012, Fong drove for the Sauber team during a test at the Valencia track, and returned to the car for Friday practice at the final round of the 2014 season in Abu Dhabi.

For the 2015 season, Fong joined the Lotus F1 team as a development driver, completing his simulator duties alongside his GP3 season.
