Fireworks lit up the sky above Singapore as the race came to a close and the top three drivers took to the podium. Sebastian Vettel had secured a dominant victory, leading at every stage of the race, and maintaining a sizeable gap despite interference from the Safety Car.

Jenson Button was the only driver able to keep up with him during the race, and was catching the Red Bull car as they headed towards the chequered flag. Battling their way through traffic, Button managed to reduce the gap to just under two seconds, but he had to settle for second place, just managing to keep himself in contention for the title.

Mark Webber made it a double Red Bull podium by finishing third, making the most of his afternoon despite yet another difficult start to the Grand Prix itself.

The three drivers celebrated with trophies, champagne, and some pretty impressive pyrotechnics.
