Sébastien Buemi took motorsport back to his home country of Switzerland this past weekend, performing some karting tricks in front of more than 25,000 Swiss fans. The Red Bull Showcar was also in attendance for some smoky donut action.

Taking place at the Mollis Airfield, the demonstration included a NASCAR appearance, plus Red Bull stunt planes and bike riders. The event was similar to the Kart Finals that took place in Cardiff earlier this month.

After the event, Buemi spoke about appearing in his home country: “I love doing this, it's great - getting close to the fans. It was a huge lot of fun, and it would great if we could be here next year."

The Toro Rosso driver will be preparing for the Singapore Grand Prix this weekend, as Formula One turns up in the city for its only night race spectacular.
