Pirelli have finished their test in Abu Dhabi, completing about 20,000 kilometres over the course of four days. Two of them were spent running in the damp conditions, testing the wet and intermediate tyres, whilst the remainder of the time was spent on the dry compounds. Pirelli revealed that they used over 140,000 litres of water for the two night sessions, spread over the track by tankers.

Pedro de la Rosa was behind the wheel of the former Toyota chassis - the TF109 - for all four days, and says he is now confident that the sole tyre supplier are up to the challenge for the season ahead.

Motorsport Director of Pirelli, Paul Hembery, is only looking as far ahead as the next test, though, as the tyres will be out for their first official run with all teams in Valencia at the beginning of February.
