Sebastian Vettel secured his third pole position in a row this weekend in China, when the Red Bull driver finished seven tenths of a second ahead of nearest rival Jenson Button.

Vettel outshone teammate Mark Webber, who struggled with his car and was a surprise drop out in the first session of qualifying. Webber, who has suffered with KERS issues all weekend so far, will start the race from 18th position.

Meanwhile, Sebastian has dominated for all of the 2011 season so far, but is adamant he is taking nothing for granted, saying: "We have to go step by step and it all starts from zero again. Today we did a good job one more time but all it is is eight metres tomorrow. We are looking to score some points tomorrow. It's a long race."
