As the F1 media descend upon Silverstone this weekend, they are being confronted with the new pit and paddock complex, with refined media facilities as well. Reactions have been pouring in on Twitter, and here are just a few of the first impressions.

Adam Cooper said: "Had a good walk around the new paddock and pitlane, have to say that overall it's hugely impressive. Grass in the pits!" Huge seems to be the word of the day, as Manipe F1 adds: "Just had a long walk around the paddock and pitlane. Emphasis on the word 'long', this place is HUGE!"

Things are not all rosy for media types, as BBC's Andrew Benson shares: "New Silverstone media centre has no windows. Apparently it's only a temporary fix until comm boxes are moved next year. A shame, nonetheless."
