Sauber released images of their new car on Monday, and have now unleashed the real thing out on track. Undertaking a filming day at the Circuit de Catalunya, Marcus Ericsson got a taster of what his new car can deliver, although of course we won't know any details until testing gets underway next week.

The team released a video and some photos of their day out in the sun, and afterwards Ericsson tweeted: "First laps of #F12017. Good feeling in the car straight away! Bring on next week and proper testing."

Pascal Wehrlein makes a brief appearance in the video but he wasn't behind the wheel of the car and will have to miss the first week of testing in Spain due to an ongoing injury he picked up in last December's Race of Champions. Hopefully we'll see him back behind the wheel soon as the Sauber looks pretty good!
