Rubens Barrichello took his first victory since 2004 after a magnificent drive in Valencia. He started third, and jumped Kovalainen in the first round of pit stops, and Hamilton in the second. The McLaren pit crew made a mistake that held Hamilton up, but it looked like nothing was going to stop Barrichello either way. The entire paddock congratulated him as he took to the podium.
