Jenson Button kicks up a seasonal storm around the Autodromo Nazionale Monza during Free Practice on Friday. The Formula 1 fraternity are making their final European stop of the season at the historic park, before heading off for seven more flyaway races.

Still riding high following his win in Belgium one week ago, the McLaren driver was pleased with his day's work.

"I'm pretty comfortable with the car; you always want more, but we've done a reasonably good job today. Looking at the data, there are quite a few teams out there that look quick too. It's very close and that’s going to make it an interesting race."

Button finished both practice sessions in second place, his teammate beating him to the top spot during the second outing of the day.
