Lotus-Renault unveiled their 2011 livery today at the NEC in Birmingham. Making full use of the Autosport International crowds, the team revealed the black and gold colour scheme which is only slightly different from the pictures released when the sponsorship was first announced.

The car also shows off the new Pirelli tyres to full effect though, with yellow Pirelli branding, plus gold wheel rims. Vitaly Petrov was on hand to remove the covers from the new car, and answer questions from the waiting media. He sounded excited for the opportunity of another season with Renault, although he didn't miss the opportunity for a dig at Robert Kubica, saying: "If your teammate is Robert you can't learn anything from him because he's always a closed person. You can only watch his data, how he's working, what he says to his engineer, that's it."

Meanwhile, Lotus-Renault confirmed they would be running under a British licence for the year, meaning that any podium celebrations would feature the British national anthem rather than the French. Team principal Éric Boullier confirmed that they were rebranding everything inside the team.
