Spain appears sunny and bright, and so far things are going Red Bull's way. Webber led FP1, but practice never tells the full story. The updates McLaren are bringing to the car appear to still be a work in progress, whilst Pastor Maldonado has given his mechanics some work to do after spinning off out of the first session.

There's 90 minutes of running still to be done today. Free Practice 2 should begin at 1pm GMT+1, and I hope you'll join us in the comments if you can.

One to Watch

Nico Rosberg seems to be best of the rest at the moment, with his time just two tenths off Vettel's in FP1. They were both a second off Webber, of course, but even so, Rosberg has appeared to be gaining momentum as this season progresses.
