Off track action was in danger of dominating the headlines recently, but now we have some more sessions to take our minds off clubs in China. This weekend, Formula One rocks up to Barcelona for another race. Some say that this may be the real test of the new regulations. Also, with the close proximity to most of the factories, we may be expecting more upgrades to be tested out this weekend.

However, before all of that we have a day of Free Practice ahead of us, with this first session starting at 9am GMT+1. That's 10am local time.

One to Watch

Keep an eye on Fernando Alonso this weekend, as he's just confirmed another four years on his contract with Ferrari - seeing him with a race seat at the red team until 2016. What if he completely messes up this weekend? That would be a slightly awkward situation!

It's unlikely to happen, though. The Spaniard will be hoping to impress the home crowds.
