Qualifying from Japan // Formula 1 World Championship 2012

Published by Christine

All eyes are on Red Bull and McLaren as they look set to do battle around the Suzuka circuit - and with qualifying the next step to a good race, all four drivers will be out to get that coveted pole position. Jenson Button has a five place grid drop to contend with though, after a gearbox change, so the best grid spot he can hope for is sixth. With three sessions of decreasing length, and 24 cars vying for the highest position possible, qualifying should be good - and it looks set to be sunny too!
