Spain 2010 - Qualifying - Who will take pole position in Barcelona this afternoon?

Published by Christine

It was all about Red Bull again in Free Practice 3 but McLaren were close behind with the four drivers locking out the top four spots. There was one red flag for two separate cars - will qualifying go ahead without incident?

Weather update

Rain is still on the cards and considering that qualifying is the most important session of the weekend, it is crucial that the conditions stay constant - whether they are wet or dry. It will also be potentially similar conditions to tomorrow, so a good chance to try racing in anger on the track.

One to watch

Virgin are having a real time of it at the moment. Not only did they have a small fuel tank, but now they've gone and got five place penalties for both drivers for not confirming their gear ratios to the FIA. Will they even bother to go out on track? I suppose they need the practice/exposure, so what can they do to help their situation?

Predictions please

Who will qualify on pole? Will it be between the Red Bulls and the McLarens? Can Rosberg finally outpace Schumacher or is the champion finally on form? Will there be any incidents? Will the track be wet?
