Spain 2010 - Free Practice 3 - One hour of practice as the teams work through their programmes

Published by Christine

Friday turns into Saturday and Free Practice continues with one final hour long session before qualifying gets underway. We have not seen a massive change in fortunes so far, and it was McLaren vs Red Bull on the first day in Spain.

Weather update

So far, the rain has held off but the weather forecasts for Saturday show plenty in the way of showers to mix things up a little bit. I think most are keeping their fingers crossed for a damp race to get some action going at the Barcelona circuit,

One to watch

Michael Schumacher has suddenly begun showing up his teammate which is something we've been looking for him to do all season so far. Rosberg has taken a back seat as the former champion finds his form and it will be interesting to see if he can turn his free practice results into something more worthwhile today and Sunday.

Predictions please

Who will be fastest at the end of FP3? Will it bear any resemblance to the final positions of qualifying? Will Schumacher outpace Rosberg? Will anyone crash into the barriers? Will the weather cause havoc?
