Formula 1 is back and this time we are back on European soil as Spain hosts the return of the drivers after a three week break. We've suffered a lack of news but that will all change once the sessions get underway.

Weather update

Although it looks as though the weekend will be wet throughout, Friday may be the one day we see some sunshine. All the teams will be bringing new parts and they will want some time to run them before the weather sets in.

One to watch

Christian Klien is getting another chance in an F1 car today as he takes part in first practice for HRT - taking the seat of Chandhok for one session. No word on whether Yamamoto is going to get a turn.
