Malaysia 2010 - Free Practice 3 - Lewis Hamilton hopes to make it three out of three

Published by Christine

Friday was definitely McLaren's day to shine, with Lewis Hamilton leading the way in both free practice sessions. It wasn't clear who was running heavy fuel loads and who wasn't, but tyres definitely seemed to be a key issue in the humid conditions.

Weather update

There was heavy rain predicted on Friday, but we didn't see a single drop during either of the practice sessions. That being the case, I don't really trust the heavy rain predictions for Saturday either, although the timings are much more relevant to what we will see on Sunday.

One to watch

All eyes on Ferrari, as they were further down the order than we could have anticipated. Rumour has it they were running heavy fuel, but would that really allow a Lotus to be ahead of them? They seemed to be struggling with grip as well, so it could be a tough weekend for the boys in red.

Predictions please

Will we see any rain? Will Rosberg continue to be faster than Schumacher? Will Ferrari improve? Will FP3 bear any resemblance to qualifying? Who will be fastest?
