Malaysia 2010 - Free Practice 2 - Ferrari need time to recover after difficult first practice

Published by Christine

Free Practice 1 was all about McLaren, but wasn't really a good indicator of anything else we will see over the weekend. Will FP2 hold the key to the race?

Weather update

It was dry this morning, but it is still forecast to rain at some point today. The predictions say heavy rain throughout with just a brief bit of sunshine first thing. Whether that will translate to what we actually see is a whole other matter.

One to watch

Fernando Alonso appeared to be struggling in the Ferrari this morning, and we watched Felipe Massa run off track several times as well. The car looks to be a bit of a handful, so FP2 is the time to make the tweaks required to bring it in line.

Predictions please

Will we see any rain? Will Schumacher outpace Rosberg? Can McLaren stay at the top? Will Chandhok manage not to finish last?
