No major KERS issues so far today, so things seem to be running smoothly on that front. BMW have confirmed Heidfeld will be running the device this weekend, so all is well.

Weather update

Weather.com suggests that the most up to date forecast is light rain with thunder. Lee McKenzie has also spoken of an electrical storm so it looks like things could take a turn for the wet in Sepang.

One to watch

The Brawn boys both seemed to have problems with their engines this morning, and whilst the team confirmed it was simply a known issue as they were running on maximum oil, it may be worth keeping an eye on engines this weekend. All but Toro Rosso and McLaren have chosen to run fresh engines.

Predictions please

This is the important one, the qualifying predictions. Will we see any major surprises dropping out early? Will Alonso be able to pull anything out of the bag? Will Ferrari continue to be strong? Who will be on pole for the Malaysian Grand Prix? Answers on a postcard... or in the comments, please.
