Korea 2010 - Free Practice 2 - It's still early days as drivers get used to a brand new track

Free Practice 2 is traditionally the time when drivers hit the track with renewed vigour, fresh from testing the waters first thing. It's usually down to business with tyre testing, and given the reports on the grip levels out on track, this may be a very important part of the process this weekend.

Sunny

When I said earlier that the sunshine was not a problem, I never thought that it could be so bright as to be annoying. When FP1 first started, we struggled to distinguish the cars from each other as the sun was so strong as to disguise their liveries. It seemed better towards the end, and I doubt it will be a problem for this session.

One to watch

Nico Hülkenberg spoke yesterday about his future, with rumours that Williams are going to look for a driver that comes with more financial support. He doesn't want to be a pay driver, but thinks his chances of success lie with the team.

"What I can say is that I think the best for me and my development and everything... my point of view is that I really would like to stay with Williams, because the car can be competitive next year.

- Nico Hülkenberg

The Williams has looked good so far in Free Practice, particularly strong around the first two sectors of the circuits, and this weekend could be a real chance for Nico to shine. Particularly as he and his teammate are on an even footing, given the brand new circuit.

Predictions please

Senna crashed out first this morning, although there was no meeting with the barriers. Will anyone meet an untimately end to their session in FP2? Who will finish the day on top? Who will be the slowest car out there? Will the times drop anymore or have we seen as fast as the circuit can go?
