Friday in Germany appears to be a bit on the damp side and so far today that has mixed up the running order something chronic. Free Practice is never a reliable marker, but what about in the wet? What can we try and deduce from the next 90 minutes?

Heavy rain showers

It looks as though the weather will continue to feature prominently in Free Practice today as there are heavy rain showers predicted. Earlier, Bernie's site was adament that the track was dry, so I wonder what it will make of this afternoon's conditions.

One to watch

I actually think it's worth watching two drivers this session. Hamilton may or may not be out on track after wrecking his car this morning. He'll want to get more running in but he might have given his mechanics enough headaches for one day. Meanwhile, Schumacher was woefully off the pace. As mentioned, wet running is an altogether different beast, but seeing Michael so close to Sakon is a surprise!

Predictions please

Who is your money on for the fastest time of the afternoon? Will the running be faster or slower than this morning? Will anyone else have an unfortunate meeting with the barriers? Who will spin the most?
