Europe 2010 - Qualifying // Who can secure pole position at the new Valencia street track?

Published by Christine

Qualifying is finally here and we get to see who will start on pole position for the European Grand Prix in Valencia. It's looking like the regular battle between Red Bull and McLaren, but with maybe Mercedes thrown into the mix as well. We'll have to wait and see!

Weather update

And still the sun keeps on shining. I mean, I know this is Spain and it's the middle of summer and it would be weird if it was raining, but it would just make things so much more fun. Even if it only rained for about five minutes, I would take that.

One to watch

Take your pick. It could be anyone on pole position today. I'm going to be keeping an eye on Mark Webber though, because although Red Bull lost their pole streak at the last race, I reckon they could be on course to grab it back again.

Predictions please

Who is your money on for the front row of the grid? Can Alonso please the home fans? Or will it be Red Bulls day once again? Will anyone meet the barriers in an unfortunate incident? Will there be any tyre mishaps or traffic problems?
