Weather update

Guess what? It's meant to stay nice and dry for the duration. Not a spot of rain to trouble proceedings. Nothing. Not even a cloud is predicted, although I guess you might see a bit of white fluff in the sky. Should we start doing rain dances yet?

One to watch

I would be keeping an eye on young Nico Rosberg in this session. He's been known for speeding away in Free Practice, but I'm reliably informed that yesterday the Mercedes car looked genuinely fast. Can he repeat the feat in FP3?

Predictions please

Who will end the morning on top? Will there be any big crashes? Will anyone be worried about making it out in time for qualifying? Will the weather hold? Can Alonso please the home crowd again?
