Canada 2010 - Qualifying - Who will take pole position for the Canadian Grand Prix?

Published by Mr. C

Qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix is almost upon us. After a year's sabbatical, it's time to find out who is fast and who is slow around the unforgiving Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Weather update

The day is yet to brighten up, with overcast washed out skies affecting track and ambient temperatures. Changeable conditions could make for an interesting qualifying hour.

One to watch

Di Grassi has been having a torrid weekend thus far, although fastest through the speed trap earlier today he ended Free Practice 3 beached in the gravel. Can the man pull it together to keep in touch with his teammate during the first part of qualifying?

Predictions please

Looking through the practice times, pole might be a difficult one to call today. Who's your tip for the top spot and can McLaren finally break Red Bull's stranglehold on first position in 2010? Massa and Hamilton both had close brushes with walls during FP3, will someone finally finish the job under the pressure of qualifying?
