Abu Dhabi 2009 - Free Practice 3 - Will there be red flags during the session or all quiet in FP3?

Published by Christine

Yesterday was a relatively subdued day in the world of Formula 1, despite the fact the drivers don't know the circuit at all. Simulators do seem to work magic though.

Weather update

It is still hot, but the real question is if drivers are learning anything from FP1 and FP3 whereas the important sessions - qualifying and the race will be later in the day as it starts to get darker and cooler.

One to watch

Jenson Button has been on fire so far this weekend, placing himself very highly up the timesheets. McLaren and Red Bull have been up there too, but our champion seems to have been let off the leash this weekend.

Predictions please

Will we see any red flags at all during this session? Will any of the drivers make a serious mistake and will anyone visit that run off area underneath the grandstands? Who will end the morning on top?
