A brand new circuit means that we might see a little more action than we're used to in Free Practice, although possibly not straight away. Drivers will have spent some time on the simulators, but there's a green track waiting for them and bets should be taken on who will head out first.

Narain Karthikeyan is making something of a comeback this weekend, racing for one event only at his home track. Karun Chandhok will have to make the most of Free Practice 1, as he hasn't got a seat for the race itself. How many laps will he manage to complete?
