Thus, Friday becomes Saturday, and we have one hour of practice scheduled before the qualifying sessions get underway. It's a final hour for teams to test out how their cars work on low fuel, and decide which of the soft and supersoft compounds are the ones they will use to go the fastest.

The final 60 minutes of practice should begin at 10am GMT+1.

One to Watch

Fernando Alonso, who is going into this weekend with a lot of motivation and energy. Talking about his chances for a win yesterday, he said:

Now we approach the weekend as we approached the last two: knowing that in qualifying we can be up there in the top five, but we can be second, fourth or first as it's not very clear who can fight for pole. And then in the race I think we can be up there with them as it happened at the Nurburgring. It's going to be very tight between the three teams.
