Fernando Alonso and Mark Webber took first honours yesterday, with Webber leading at the end of the day. McLaren appeared to be struggling a little for competitive times yesterday, but Free Practice can never be relied upon to give good insight into who is fast and who is not.

We've got one hour of practice remaining before the teams and drivers dive headfirst into qualifying and squabble for the big prize - pole position. Free Practice 3 should get underway at 10am GMT+1.

One to Watch

Best to keep an eye on the McLaren boys after their mixed experiences yesterday. Hamilton seemed happy with the data he gathered, although neither driver managed to finish higher than fifth in the timesheets. Button was more frustrated with his day's running.

One to forget in one way. It’s been a pretty tricky day to set-up the car. This morning I couldn’t really get a balance and this afternoon struggled initially massively, and then finally found a good balance with the car – found some rear grip from somewhere – and ran on the option tyre and it felt reasonably good.

- Jenson Button

Can they hope for better things today?
