The second ninety minute session on Free Practice Friday will usually involve longer runs than the first, with teams testing out their fuel loads, and making sure they understand how the tyres work to decide on the best strategy. If there are any tweaks to be made to the cars, Friday is the day to test them out, but recently we have seen drivers reverting to previous setups after deciding their new designs aren't as good as what went before.
