Yesterday saw plenty of drivers finding their way into the walls, with Sebastian Vettel, Adrian Sutil, Jérôme D'Ambrosio and Kamui Kobayashi all giving their mechanics a bit of extra work. It was a tough day for Sauber all round, with the confirmation that Pérez would be taking a step back this weekend, to be replaced by Pedro de la Rosa.

Elsewhere, Mercedes showed great pace in FP1 but dropped way down the timesheets in the second session, whilst Fernando Alonso and Ferrari seemed strong throughout.

What will occur in Free Practice 3 - the final hour of practice before teams have to hunker down and prepare for qualifying? Can Vettel recover from his crash, or will it open up the field for other drivers to shine? The session should begin at 3pm GMT+1.

One to Watch

It's worth keeping an eye on substitute driver Pedro de la Rosa, as he was only given ten minutes warning before having to dive into the car in FP2. The pedals weren't in the right place, and he just had to go with what was underneath him - he finished the session 18th. Can he do any better with a bit of extra time to set the car up more towards his own style?
